About the Challenge

According to Harvard Business Review, women tend to apply for jobs only when they meet 100% of the qualifications, while men apply at 60%.

The Challenge: Design a tool, program, or campaign that empowers young women to take action before they feel “completely ready.”

Think About:

Peer-to-peer platforms or mentor matching
Confidence-tracking apps
Workshops that reframe what “qualified” really means
Gamified job application/selection

For this hackathon, we invite participants to unleash their creativity and develop forward-thinking financial technology solutions that promote equality and inclusion. We want you to use your hacking skills to find and build solutions that put financial opportunities and resources within reach for these communities through creative, accessible and/or sustainable solutions.
